VAUXHALL Zafira, Model Year 2010

The mpg is listed at 39.2 mpg but in my view it could be loads more. Handling is incredibly well and significantly better than I was expecting for the cost of the car. Not surprisingly considering just how uneconomical it is that the Zafira also comes with a really big road tax bill. Vauxhall feeding the bank balance of the UK government.

There have been a handful tiny little mechanical issues but nothing major. The Zafira is a reasonable car for the money. It handles reasonably well and much as you might expect for a car of its cost.

I commute daily in my Zafira and it always goes at slightly over mpg than the apparent official mpg figure of 47.1. Ive done 10500 in the Zafira and with every mile I appreciate it even more. Vauxhall gets my thumbs up for the Zafira and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a well designed car.

im driving to and from work every day so clocking up a fair amount of miles and I would say I am getting pretty close to the 33.2 miles to the gallon figure which is about what I was expecting. I dont know about recommending the Zafira. I reckon Vauxhall has developed a decent car but there's probably more impressive cars out there. After 15000 miles I've begun to hate this motor. The windows don't close effortlessly and Vauxhall's customer service is hard of hearing. This cars supposed to do 34.4 miles to the gallon? Is that some sort of laugh? we'll see santa coming down the chimney before the Zafira ever runs at that level.

I'm unsure if I would recommend the Zafira. It is reliable but its not the most amazing car in the world. The Zafira will do for me. It's certainly not the best ride on the market and doesnt exactly give me any reason to cheer out loud but I've owned enough problematic cars before now to be grateful for the fact that the Zafira causes me no real headaches. For the outlay, I don't think the Zafira is good value. Compared to my partner's Passat this is not a great car. I would recommend the Zafira to family who are looking to buy a decent car but not for people who are looking for something mind blowing. I've done about 20000 miles since purchasing my Zafira. I don't have any real problems about the Zafira. Not. My drives are usually quite minimal and I'm getting about 35 mpg on average.
