I wish I'd never even thought about buying the Renault Clio. It's caused me nothing issues. Urgh. Me and my Clio have now been unhappily married for 12 months and we've gone 11000 miles or so. Unfortunately it feels more like 12 years and every single day I despise it a little more. If you would like a car that handles brilliantly then try anything but this.
Phenomenal set of wheels. I'm a notorious complainer and even I can't find one tiny thing to grumble about.
Road tax continues to be a massive Government scam but It's not too bad with the Clio. My old Espace was a good car, but this is better.
The only glitch I had was a slight one where boot wouldn't close properly but as soon as contacted Renault they sorted it immediately and were really polite about the whole thing. Id heard that the Clio handles amazingly but even with those expectations I was still very pleasantly surprised. The handling is awesome. Id without question recommend the Clio to anyone who asked. Road tax is approximately what i might expect from a car like this. I owned a 3 Series for years and really did adore it. But the Clio is way better. I truly wouldn't switch the Clio for another car. Awesome ride!.
Any issues I have come across have been very insignificant so nothing to really complain about. It handles alright and as expected for a vehicle of its price. The Clio will do for me. It's probably not the best car on the market and doesnt exactly give me any reason to cheer out loud but I've had enough nightmare cars in the past to appreciate the fact that the Clio doesn't have any recurring issues. Overall its alright. My journeys are relatively minimal and I'm getting about 55 mpg on average. I had a Ford Mondeo for a few years and only got Clio because I wanted a bit of a change. Truthfully the Clio is neither better nor worse than the old one but its decent. I am unsure if I would recommend the Clio. I reckon Renault has designed a standard model but there are undoubtedly better cars out there.
Handles like a sack of manure. I disliked my last A4 but I dislike the Clio even more. I've had nothing but faults since I acquired it and truthfully it seems like Renault couldn't care less. I wouldn't recommend the Clio even if Renault offered me millions.
I moved from a Chevrolet Cruze to the Renault Clio and it definitely feels like an amazing upgrade. I was told that the official mpg number for the Clio was 52.3 but I am sure that Im getting loads more from mine. I've done 14000 miles in this car and it keeps getting better and better. It was a bit of toss up for me between the Renault Clio and a Chevrolet Cruze. I know for sure I made a great decision in choosing the Clio.
The only people Id recommend the Clio to are those who I don't like. Why on Earth did I ever get rid of my Zafira for the Clio? What a bad decision that turned out to be. I have had this ongoing problem with the handbrake and despite a number of correspondence with Renault I still haven't had the issue repaired. It's a total nightmare. How does it handle? There is no swear word in the world that could ever describe how dismal the handling on the Clio is. This cars supposed to do 52.3 miles to the gallon? Is that some sort of laugh? we'll see the toothfairy coming to dinner before the Clio ever runs at that level. I wish I'd never even thought about buying the Renault Clio. It's caused me nothing issues. Urgh. The 17500 miles i have done in the past 8 months have been the most awful driving experiences of my life.
The handling kind of like no other car I've owned.
The Renault Clio is a drivers car. Id 100% recommend the Clio to friends and family. Since getting the Clio I've done about 12000 miles and absolutely adore it.
There was a little flaw with the tail lights when I first got it but Renault were ace in dealing with it for me. Awesome job, Renault. I wouldn't think twice recommending the Clio to friends and family. I adore this car. ive done about 6500 miles in the 15 months since getting it and it's absolutely the best car ive owned.
Not sure whether or not I prefer my Clio over my previous Mazda Mazda6. I dont know about recommending the Clio. I think Renault has designed a standard car but there's undoubtedly more impressive cars on the market. It handles like my old Mazda Mazda6. The Clio is an average ride for the money.
Handling is kind of like its on rails.
I've done 7500 miles in this car and it keeps getting better and better. Renault has blown everyone out of the water with the way this handles. The Clio handles like a dream. I moved from a Passat and haven't looked back. The Renault Clio is a fantastic car. If your looking to buy a brilliant value vehicle with reasonable road tax costs, I'd definitely recommend the Clio. I just found out that the official miles per gallon it should be doing is 52.3 which surprises me as Im absolutely getting more from mine. Road tax has always been a massive Government scam but It's not particularly costly with the Clio.
You get what you would expect in terms of handling with the Clio. The official mpg figure for my Clio is 52.3 and i am getting around that out of mine so no complaints. ive had no major issues in the 9 months since buying the Clio and ive done about 5000 miles in it. The Clio is is very similar to my old S60. The Clio is a decent car for the price it sells for. I shouldn't really moan about the road tax expense with the Clio. It could be worse.
I can't really grumble about the road tax cost with the Clio. It could be more expensive. I'm unsure if I would recommend the Clio. It is alright but its not the most amazing car on the planet. It hasnt given me any significant problems. My journeys are relatively minimal and I'm getting around 55 mpg on average. You get decent value in terms of how it handles with the Clio. The Clio is is very similar to my old 159.
I truly wouldn't swap the Clio for another car. Great ride!. I recommend the Clio so frequently that my family believes I'm on commission. I cant really moan about the road tax bill with the Clio. It could be worse. My last vehicle was a Porsche 911 and as much as I adored it, my new Clio is on a whole new level. There's no switching back. I commute five times a week in my Clio and it consistently performs at way more miles to the gallon than the apparent official mpg figure of 52.3.
It handles incredibly well and way better than I expected for what I paid of the car. I just looked up that the official miles to the gallon it is supposed to be running at is 52.3 which shocks me because I'm definitely getting a better performance than that from mine. I love this car. Ive recommended the Clio to anyone I meet. I want commission from Renault. I moved from a Mercedes-benz SLK-Class and haven't looked back.
Since buying the Clio I have covered about 9000 miles and totally love it. One of the many reasons I chose it was that the official stats said it would run at 52.3 which seemed pretty decent to me but I'm sure that I'm getting more than that. I talk about the Clio so often that my partner thinks I'm on commission.
Road tax is always a massive Government scam but It's not so terrible with the Clio. There was a little problem with the clutch when I first got it but Renault were ace in sorting it out for me. The mpg is listed at 52.3 mpg however in my view it's loads better.
I had a bizarre issue with the windscreen wipers turning on and off for no reason which was a little bit irritating but the peeps atRenault got it fixed ridiculously speedily with no hassle so I really can' moan. The handling kind of like no other car I've owned. Since purchasing the Clio Ive covered roughly 6000 miles and absolutely love it.
I get about 55 mpg on average, so can't complain.
I don't have any serious reasons to whinge about the Clio. It isn't bad. i am commuting every day so covering a fair amount of miles and I'd guess I am getting very close to the 52.3 mpg mark which is about right. Road tax is always a big Government joke but It's not too bad with the Clio. I had a Mégane for a few years and only bought Clio because I fancied a bit of a change. In all honesty the Clio is is no better than the old one but its reliable. i've driven around 8500 miles in the 4 months since I picked up the Clio.
It handles like my old Jeep. The 12500 miles i've driven in the Clio have proven that there's nothing to hate about it but nothing to especially adore either. The Clio is a good ride for the price it sells for. I'm unsure if I would recommend the Clio. It is fine but it's not the best car on earth.
Since getting the Clio Ive done around 16500 miles and completely love it. The Clio is a amazing car.
I just found out that the official miles per gallon it should be doing is 52.3 which shocks me because I am sure that I am getting more miles to the gallon from mine. Renault has surpassed everyone with the this car's handling. The Clio handles amazingly. Since getting the Clio I've covered around 8500 miles and totally love it.
I adore this car. In 23 months Ive clocked up 10500 miles in the Clio and have zero problems with it in any sense of the word. I moved from a Satria and haven't looked back.
Id heard that the Clio handled brilliantly but even with those expectations I was still very pleasantly surprised. The handling is excellent. Just buy this car, you won't regret it. My old Swift was a good car, but this is better.
It handles alright and as expected for a car of its value. Road tax is about what i would imagine from a car like this. It's probably not the best car ever from Renault to be truthful but it's better than other similar cars at this price point.
I've done 4500 miles in this car and it keeps getting better and better. I sold my Jimny to get get the Renault Clio and it was the right choice. Wow the Clio boasts handling like like something much more expensive than it actually it. Awesome. The only problem I had was a slight one where the windscreen wipers weren't coming on but as soon as contacted Renault they sorted it immediately and were incredibly sorry about everything. The Clio costs a reasonable amount in road tax but you can't totally blame Renault for that. The co2 emissions means the cost is less than it has been with similar models ive had in the past.
The Clio is a great car. I did have a little problem with the child locking and raised it with Renault. I was very embarassed to be advised that the issue was actually related to something silly that I was doing. Yep it was my fault after all, but Renault were really understanding about it all. Since getting the Clio Ive done roughly 3000 miles and completely love it.
Ive recomended the Clio to everyone I know. I want commission from Renault. It had one tiny glitch with the front window closing. I called Renault and it was sorted quickly.
I moved from a Vauxhall Corsa to the Renault Clio and it definitely feels like an amazing upgrade. I have recommended the Clio to anyone i know. I feel I should be on commission from Renault. Renault have pulled out all the stops with the Clio.
I dont deliberately recommend the Clio with mates but if anyone asked I would say that its an alright car. The Renault Clio doesn't feel any better or worse than my last Ford Tourneo. You get what you pay for in terms of how it handles with the Clio.
